  • Welcome to the entry page for the Dardanup Art Spectacular.

    Please consider the following guidelines before you proceed.

    Standard entry fee: $20 per piece
    This allows your artworks to be exhibited, and gives you the option of having your work listed for sale.


    Concessional fees for eligible Dardanup residents -
    Dardanup emerging artist: $15 per piece
    Dardanup student (Secondary or Primary): $6 per piece

    Each artist normally enters a maximum of two exhibits. Dardanup residents may enter up to three exhibits.
    Please answer all questions as accurately as possible to ensure your entry can be processed without delay.
    Please note all artworks (except those by Dardanup school students) must be available for sale and hence artists must specify a selling price. Please take into account that all sales associated with the main exhibition are subject to a 25% commission on the selling price and hence the artist will receive 75% of the sale price if applicable.
    Questions marked with asterisk (*) are compulsory.
    Also ensure that you have read the full Conditions of Entry before proceeding with your entry form. Failure to abide by the conditions of entry may result on your artworks not being accepted for the show. Please proceed and good luck.

  • It is important that you provide an email address. Confirmation of your entry will be sent to this address.
  • For primary school aged children please only provide mobile number for parent/responsible adult.
    Emerging artist is one who has not previous won a major prize, does not teach art.
    If you are a school student you pay a reduced entry fee but remain eligible for the 'emerging artist' awards.
  • This entry fee is payable if you do not live in the Shire of Dardanup.
  • Please consider the following guidelines before proceeding with your entry.

    Artists may enter pieces in one or more categories (for full details see Conditions of Entry).
    Each artwork can be entered into one category only.

    Category A – ANY SUBJECT (ANY MEDIUM, not including photography)
    Category B – THEME – The artist may interpret and convey the theme either as representational, or metaphorical, or symbolic, or abstract, or in any other way the artist chooses (ANY MEDIUM, not including photography) . For details on the Theme please refer to our website at dardanupartspectacular.com.au
    Category C – PORTRAIT (not including photography)
    Category D – PHOTOGRAPHY
    Category E – 3-DIMENSIONAL ARTWORK – Includes sculpture, jewellery, furniture, pottery etc
    Artists entering 3-Dimensional works have the option of entering each piece into one of the categories A, B or E.

    In the following section we ask for your banking details. This allows us to promptly pay to you any proceeds from art sales, prize monies or refunds which may be due to you. If you choose not to provide this then any such payments may be delayed for up to 30 days after closure of the exhibition.

    Please upload your image files using the following instruction. To help us keep track of your images we ask that you include your surname and first initial as part of the filename.

    For example if Fred Bloggs was submitting files he would name them bloggsf1 and bloggsf2 etc

Dardanup Art Spectacular

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather, the Whadjuk people of Noongar Boodjar. We recognise their continued connection to the land and waters of this beautiful place and acknowledge. We pay our respects to all Whadjuk Elders past, present and emerging.
