This FREE event is your chance to go behind the scenes and meet the many talented artists in this special part of Western Australia.
Visit their studios, have a chat, ask them questions and watch as they skillfully create art before your very eyes. Get to know the story behind the artists and their work.

2021 ART TRAIL VENUES AND STUDIOS
Don’t forget to plan your visit around the times galleries are open to make the most of your time in our part of the world. Plan a day or two of traveling through the district, visiting local galleries and exhibitions. Meet the interesting locals and view their fine work. Enjoy the wines and foods offered by local venues.

1. DARDANUP ART SPECTACULAR EXHIBITION
On view is an eclectic range of art pieces entered into the 2021 Art Spectacular competition. There is a variety of genres in both 2D and 3D art. Artist’s work from the Dardanup region and further will be exhibited. Come to see the winners. Vote for your favourite for the viewers’ prize. Open 10am – 5pm.

Works from over twenty artisans for sale. Meet Artist in Residence Diana Neggo and enjoy her landscapes, seascapes and still lifes. Check out the marquees featuring Carol Gardiner’s creative textiles, the Fluid Wearable Art Jewellery created by Kaye Leach and delightful ceramics with a Japanese twist from Rie Yamauchi.

Working studio at the rear of the house. Art on display and for sale including oils, pastel, acrylics, watercolour, pen and wash, inks and more. A large selection on display and for sale.

4. ART OUR WAY
Thomas Little Hall, Ferguson Rd, Dardanup
Art Our Way’s concept is to encourage individuality within this group of local artists’ diverse range of styles, experiences and abilities. Focus is on achievement of personal goals and to maintain joy in the process and completion of art work. Built in 1854, this is an unique opportunity to view a building rarely open to the public. St Mary’s Anglican Church 23 Picton-Boyanup Rd Dardanup
Christine Blowfield is primarily an acrylic artist with large works depicting our South West flora and fauna. Jill Harrison brings the beauty of nature into your homes. South West sisters Sandra and Sylvia portray our unique flora and in various mediums. Open: Saturday and Sunday 10am – 5pm in this beautiful heritage listed church.
6. 5TH ELEMENT GLASS STUDIO
40 Gavins Gully Ct Dardanup West
Featuring fused art glass, silk scarves and bags, jewellery and resin ware. Tracey Mason will be the artist in residence creating glasswork on the studio verandah. Open 10am – 5pm all weekend. Wheelchair friendly.

Crooked Brook Road
Beautiful garden dotted with intriguing sculptures, a studio gallery showing the work of professional artists, Linda Skrolys and Russell Sheridan. Live Brazilian music throughout the weekend. Open: Saturday and Sunday 10am – 5pm.
8. THE CREEKHOUSE COLLECTIVE
584 Joshua Creek Road, Crooked Brook.
A collective of artists exhibiting in a range of mediums. “By the Crooked Brook’s” watercolour art by Elli Barrett, Fine woodwork by Brian Barrett, Textiles and fashion by Sally Young, Porcelain objects by Vivianna Maier, Fine art by Gai Saunders and “In the Meadow’s” hand embroidery by Shenaed Fleay. Food truck on site for lunch, Spice Journey on Saturday and Merrifield Range on Sunday. Open Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm.
9. ELLIOTSMITH SCULPTURES AND GLASS STUDIO
41 Wellington Mill Road
Home studio featuring award-winning glass sculptures, ornaments and dishes and multimedia sculptures by husband and wife team William and Heather. Artisans provide a varied arts and craft experience with colourful textiles and paintings by Cynthia Dix, exquisite feltwork by Lenore Fairfield and Bob Turner’s sculptures and fittings created from reclaimed metal and timber. A studio experience well worth a visit. Open Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm.

The Follies Sculpture Trail -an outdoor sculpture trail showcasing predominantly the works of local amateur artisans set in a bush setting along the bank of the Ferguson River. Please note no toilets.$2 entry – donation to Solaris Care. Open Saturday and Sunday 10am – 5pm.
JENNI DOHERTY STUDIO
447 Wellington Mill Road, Wellington Mill
Home studio showcasing a variety of art including paintings, jewellery, decorative garden art, stone sculptures, handknits. Artists include Jenni Doherty, Michelle Gauntlett, Fran Baker, Lois Doherty, Dane Williamson, Janelle Barnes, Christine Sefton. Enjoy wine tasting with homemade pies and soup on sale. A creative, peaceful garden for a picnic stop. Artist-in-residence is Sue Kalab, specialist in watercolours of Australian nature. Sue’s art invites you to a walk in the bush or an amble along the beach. Children’s nature art to make with your child. Morning and afternoon teas, with cake. Open Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.00pm.

Take the time to visit the tourist attraction of Gnomesville. Wander through the gnomes in this part of the forrest and don’t forget to take that selfie! Always open.

Exhibition of art in the function centre. Cellar door with food and beverages available for purchase. Works by Chippie Male, Kate Forster, Zena Smith, Nerida Wallace, Jude Willis, Dot Oliver and Kevan Collett will also be on view. Lyn “Chippie” Male will be artist in residence both days painting. Ferguson Falls Wines and Café are a part of a working beef and dairy farm. Enjoy lunches, coffee and cake, fine wines, as you appreciate and reflect on the art of our resident artist, Jeana Castelli. Artist Annie Labriolawill be Artist in Residence. Annie works in many mediums , with her main love being sculpture and oil painting. 19. GREEN DOOR WINES
112 Henty Road, Henty
Cellar door showcasing the art of Dylan Nietrzeba and Turner and Turner Handcrafted Wood Turners. Dylan is an emerging artist specialising in pen and ink illustrations and real-life portraiture. TURNER + TURNER is a collaboration between Suellen and Neil Turner, who carefully design and handcraft modern timber homewares for everyday use. Public toilets, wheelchair friendly. Wine tasting and food available. Open 11am – 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.
20. EVEDON LAKESIDE RETREAT
205 Lennard Road, Burekup
There will be much to admire at Evedon Lakeside Retreat in our purpose-built gallery displaying a variety of media from multiple local artists including woodwork, handmade soaps and candles. The main building, including the gallery and restaurant, features a vaulted ceiling supported by massive timber logs and views of the beautiful bush location and the lake. Breakfast and lunch available, bookings required. Gallery open Saturday and Sunday 8am – 4pm
