MALCOLM HICKS

My art experience started in 2010 after I was diagnosed with a serious illness and retired from work. 

A large proportion of my art reflects locations I have visited and lived. 

In past Dardanup Art Spectacular's I have been fortunate to win both the Emerging Artist and Theme Category. 

Donating artworks to the Motor Neurone Disease Organisation and other fundraising activities has given me a great deal of satisfaction. 

All of my artwork is signed 8183 after my son suggested its uniqueness in identifying me during my Police career. 

My future artwork will depict new experiences and interests whilst I travel.
