Lindsay, Wink

This artwork entitled Preston Valley, Mumballup is a reflection of my connection with the landscape of my home. There is strength, resilience and beauty. Whether conscious or not, we choose to settle in a place where we find peace.  I believe there are strong links between Location and Identity. 

My love of the Australian bush influences my art. Rughooking provides me with a medium to create Eco-Concious Art. Mindfully working with my hands, choosing strips of fabric and pulling each loop, a story is created. Each rug is a celebration of Place.
