A hairdresser by trade, Gavin fell in love with the Bunbury and surrounding areas art world and its wonderful artists. He was inspired by them to portray his love for people, music, dance, food and wine. He does this by painting in 'Encaustic', or oils in wax technique. He has been exhibiting since 1999 in Bunbury, Margaret River, Perth and of course, in the Dardanup Art trail back in 2016. This year's entry is about identifying the joys of the Dardanup/ Ferguson area and the fun that can be had enjoying this special part of the world.
