As I pass an old weathered truck sitting quietly in a Dardanup paddock with its undercarriage sunken into the earth, I wonder what this vehicle once represented.  A working truck, the backbone of farming, carting heavy hay bales, fresh milk churns, or transporting excited children or animals perched in its cab heading to town. It may have travelled many a dusty road, a trusted workhorse through all weather.  Now, covered in rust, it rests in permanent retirement.  Its working days are done and remains a nostalgic monument to hard work, slow country life, and countless memories.
