Who can enter the Dardanup Art Spectacular?

The special categories for school children are open for those that are resident in the Shire of Dardanup regardless of the school that they attend (i.e. their school can be outside the Shire of Dardanup). School Children who live outside the Shire of Dardanup are welcome to enter the open categories. -
How does the registration work?
The on-line registration is done in two parts.

- This first part allows you to enter your personal information and select the categories that you are entering.
- Once completed, an e-mail confirming your registration will be sent to you.
- From this point:
- you will be able to continue to Part 2 where you enter further, and more detailed information about your art entries and you as an artist; or
- you can logout with a view to logging back in to your entry in order to add the more detailed information about your art entries and you as an artist.
Part 2 – Details and information about your artworks
- This second part allows you to enter such things as:
- A short bio of yourself as an artist as well as a photo of yourself;
- Titles and physical features/dimensions of your artwork as well as a photo of the artwork; and
- A statement and/or description of the artwork if it is entered in one of the themed categories – in particular, how it addresses the theme.
- Note: you can continue to log in until the closing date for submissions in order to modify or update your entry.

How can I enter on behalf of somebody else (e.g. child)?
We understand that some artists (particularly children) may not have internet access that allows them to register online themselves. A proxy can register for them. To do this:
- Use an active e-mail address that will enable confirmation e-mails and other communications. The e-mail address does not need to be unique (i.e. can be used for more than one entry). That is, the same e-mail address may, for example, be used by a parent artist and their children. Importantly, make sure each artist’s name, as well as username and password, is unique. This enables logging back in to the specific on-line entry. The log-in credentials you specified (username and password) will be given in the confirmatory e-mail for each registration.
- A recommendation: To avoid any potential confusion, try to have all the necessary information at hand when first registering so that additions or updates to the entry are avoided.

What can I do if I can’t deliver my artwork or pick it up after the exhibition within the specified times?
- You can arrange for a proxy to submit your artwork at the designated times.
- If a proxy is to pick up your artwork on the Sunday afternoon after the exhibit closes, ensure they have the receipt given at the time of submission.
- Any other alternative arrangement may only be made with Dardanup Arts’ agreement – contact us via our contact form here.
