Part 1: Specific Association Details

1. The name of the Association is: Dardanup Arts Inc
2. The objects of the Association are:
   1. To organise the annual Dardanup Art Spectacular as well as any other art competition and/or exhibition that may be initiated by, or agreed to, by the Association
   2. To develop, showcase and promote a range of cultural and arts-based recreational activities for the benefit of residents and visitors to the Dardanup Shire
   3. To encourage and provide opportunities for professional artists, emerging artists and school-age artists of the Dardanup Shire to pursue and participate in the arts
   4. To offer Western Australian, Australian and international creative practitioners unique opportunities in the Arts to locals and visitors
   5. To increase and diversify tourism in the Dardanup Shire by enhancing the Shire’s arts profile
   6. To enhance social wellbeing and improve understanding between towns and localities within the Dardanup Shire
3. Any 6 members personally present (being members entitled to vote under these rules at a general meeting) will constitute a quorum for the conduct of business at a general meeting
4. Any 4 committee members constitute a quorum for the conduct of the business of a committee meeting
5. The association’s financial year will be the period of 12 months commencing on 1 July and ending on 30 June of each year

Part 2: Prescribed Model Rules

The standard prescribed Model Rules under the Associations Incorporation Act & Regulations 2015 have been adopted by Dardanup Arts Inc.
