Coufreur, Hilly

I like painting landscapes with bold and vibrant colours, using a palette knife and buttery oil paints. I paint outdoors, ‘en plein air', which keeps my work fresh and with an immediate feel. It gives a renewed energy that also seeps back into my studio work. 

I was born in Holland and emigrated to NZ with my artist husband in 1987. We brought up 4 children and when they moved to Perth one by one, we decided to follow. We now live and paint in the hills near Donnybrook.
