Coufreur, Jos

Jos Coufreur is an award-winning artist known for his bold, spontaneous use of vibrant colour in expressive large-format works. His paintings capture people, animals, urban scenes, and landscapes with energy and movement. Growing up in the Wollongong area of Australia, Jos moved to the Netherlands with his family at age 17. After marrying, he and his wife relocated to New Zealand. Eventually, with all four of their children settling in Perth, Jos and his wife made the decision to move to Western Australia. They now live and work in the scenic hills near Donnybrook, WA.
