Carmen’s art journey began during childhood under the guidance of her mother, also an artist. A career of classroom teaching and art education paved the way for a new direction in 2000.Carmen has since been working full time on developing, exhibiting and marketing her style of work.

Whether it be the allure of water’s possibilities or bushland essence , Carmen seeks to create pleasant memories of being there, in the moment. She paints in a loose impressionistic style which depicts real-life situations and scenes, displaying versatility in the use of a variety of mediums and technique.
