I paint to satisfy my creative spirit. Each time I see a blank canvas and paint, I am excited about the possibilities of interpreting the world through colours. Painting gives me meaning and purpose. Colours and art surrounded my life in Europe, and the opportunities there taught me the value of self- expression, and that no two artworks are the same. Transforming a blank canvas into a window of perception is exhilarating. I believe that when I paint my interpretation of what I see, the work gains a soul that a photograph cannot capture.
