I’m a nature artist and birdwatcher.

My artwork has become a conversation with the natural world.  The Indian Ocean, Black Swans on Leschenault Estuary, migratory shorebirds from the Arctic Circle, the ancient Tuarts that characterize our landscape and the myriad species of birdlife that visit.  All this gives my paintbrush plenty to respond to.  This is the keynote work  from my exhibition in January "Hidden Places - stories from the bush & beach" at Rockingham Art Centre.

The rhythm of the tide, the silver stars, moonlight over water.  Five Pelicans and two Pied Stilts linger, like Ancient Music.
