I love the way pastels blur and blend into soft lines with vibrant color.  

They are a wonderfully forgiving medium.

In my work I try to invoke a feeling or a memory in that moment.

'Before the Harvest' shows my husband on his ancient  tractor, though the vineyard setting is part of my imagination.

'Practice at Nonna's' came from a trip  last year with the rich, warm tones of a backstreet in Verona, one of my favourite places in Italy.
