Dolphin, Andy

Andy's art journey spans over two decades, rooted in childhood passion. From a background in signwriting and graphic art, he now focuses on oil, watercolour, and sketching, capturing scenes with a play of sunlight. His paintings, infused with the interplay of light and shadow, evoke time and place. Since 2020, he's pursued art full-time, including solo exhibitions and teaching engagements. His drawing courses are especially popular. As an advocate of plein air painting, he leads workshops and residencies, earning accolades including the Grand Prize at the 2023 West Australian Society of Arts Annual Awards.
