Evans, Ann Evans

Ann Evans is a contemporary plein air Artist based in Guildford who has lived and worked in Western Australia, all her life.

Ann is influenced by large sky landscapes which she paints plein air as a way of immersing herself in the transcendental and momentary mindfulness  of the natural world.

Her paintings reflect the temporal and perpetual nature of colour and movement with expressive strokes, while using a carefully considered palette of watercolour and

gouache.
